"Forestry, Timber Industry, Environmental Machines Exhibition 2009"
was held in Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture, on Oct. 4th and 5th.
Fifty one (51) construction equipment manufacturers, including
Sumitomo Construction Machinery, had exhibited and demonstrated
their newest high performance forestry machines which contributes
to the productivity improvement of timber industry.
Sumitomo Construction Machinery exhibited 4 models of harvesters
which can carry out series of operations of harvesting and processing.
Many visitors were very much interested in Sumitomo's speedy and powerful,
safe and highly-efficient harvestors, gazing fixedly into the demonstration.
Sumitomo's harvestors have been sold in the domestic Japan market
for over 100 units since the year 2006, with a share of market approximately 30%.
